Marketing Director

Location: Pearl District
Job Type: Fulltime
About The Job:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Develop, evaluate, and implement a comprehensive marketing, advertising, and sales strategy
• Increase brand awareness, positioning, and reach across multiple platforms
• Educate business development and other terms on brand identity
• Create, update, and oversee social media marketing platforms, including marketing strategy, production of valuable content, editorial design, and web content
• Design, edit, and organize company proposals for projects
• Support/Coordinate project pursuit interview preparation
• Support sales and lead generation efforts
• Find other innovative ways to connect with new target audiences and existing customer base
• Continued education and research to stay current on marketing and industry trends
• Organize charity, company, and customer events
• Create and adhere to marketing budgets

Requirements:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must possess the following abilities and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years extensive experience in sales, marketing, advertising, and brand management
• Previous construction or similar industry experience preferred
• Proven dynamic marketing innovator and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, various marketing software, and web analytics
• Strategic, innovative, and creative personality with strong business insight
• Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Adept at multi-tasking with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
• Ability to interact positively with Alliant stakeholders, customers, potential clients, and media
• Present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives
• Possess excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage budgets
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or in a team atmosphere

The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:
• Frequent interaction with public, vendors, and employees
• Must be capable of working extended hour days when job/business needs demand
