Pacific Source TI & Controls Upgrade

Bend, Oregon

Pacific Source is a 60,000 SF medical office building located in Bend. The project consisted of two separate phases incorporating a full building control upgrade as well as a tenant improvement on the 2nd floor. Phase One included the replacement of a proprietary Andover control system with a new Niagara front-end and Distech field controllers. Because this project was phased, Alliant replaced the central plant, custom air handler and sixty-four VAV controllers serving the 3rd and 4th floors during phase 1, while maintain operation of the legacy control system that continued to serve the 1st and 2nd floors. The second phase of the controls upgrade was combined with a 14,000 SF tenant improvement renovation project on the 2nd floor. Along-side with the ductwork and HVAC equipment modifications as part of the tenant improvement installed by Alliant, the remaining fifty-five legacy VAV controllers were replaced on the 2nd and 1st floors and tied into the Niagara front-end installed during phase 1.
