GSA First and Main

The GSA was in need of temporary office space while their permanent home within the Edith Green building was renovated. The project was a first generation, 12-floor, 250,000 square foot, fast-track tenant improvement for six federal government agencies including the FBI, IRS, OIG and DEA.
 
Alliant systems provided mechanical construction services for the project. Substantial security features were implemented in the building, such as duress buttons on walls and under desks, key card readers and wire mesh within walls adjacent to occupied spaces were included in the project. The project was certified LEED Gold for Commercial Interiors.
