ABOUT THE JOB:
Alliant Systems is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Sales Representative to drive the growth of our client base and develop new business opportunities within the electrical industry. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in strengthening our market presence vertically and horizontally while nurturing long-term relationships with clients.
In this role, you will employ a consultative sales strategy, specifically utilizing the SPIN selling process to assess and address the unique requirements of our clients. Performance metrics will be systematically tracked through the company’s CRM platform to ensure accountability and success.
The Electrical Sales Representative will be pivotal in positioning Alliant Systems as a trusted partner in electrical solutions, focusing on service excellence, maintenance offerings, and strategically building a robust customer base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Business development: proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the company’s client base while building strong relationships with existing customers. Targeting but not limited to property managers, facility managers, and general contractors.

Client relationship management: foster enduring client partnerships by providing exceptional service and support, focused on understanding and addressing their specific electrical service and maintenance needs.

Consultative sales approach: engage in in-depth conversations to diagnose client challenges, articulate the implications of those challenges, and propose tailored electrical solutions that meet their operational requirements.

Market expansion: enhance Alliant Systems' market presence by targeting specific verticals and exploring horizontal growth opportunities within the electrical services sector.

Performance tracking: utilize the company's CRM platform to monitor sales activities, forecast business prospects, and evaluate performance against established metrics.

Collaboration with technical teams: Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver effective electrical service solutions, ensuring seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Proven track record in sales and account management within the construction industry.

Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

An understanding of electrical systems and service.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word, and Bluebeam and Adobe Review

Ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, sales, office and field personnel

Ability to consistently set goals and meet deadlines

Self-motivated
-
History of good employment attendance

A valid license and clean driving record is required
