Project Manager

Location: Portland and Eugene
Salary: DOE
Job Type: Fulltime
About The Job:

Project Managers work with customers, field personnel and office staff.  Although 90% of time is focused on the daily running of mechanical construction projects, he/she also has some business development responsibilities.  Some of the essential tasks include –

  • Schedule and track job progress
  • Research, prepare, and present proposals
  • Review contracts, design drawings, and specifications
  • Negotiate change orders
  • Prepare monthly billings, projections, and spreadsheet reports
  • Write subcontracts, job write-ups, etc.
  • Great communication skills

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Experience in mechanical engineering and construction is a plus, but not a requirement
  • A proven track record of successful projects and satisfied customer references
  • Proficient using Microsoft products, Navisworks, Bluebeam

 



Project Engineer

Location: Portland and Eugene
Salary: DOE
Job Type: Fulltime
About The Job:

The Project Engineer works with Project Managers, customers, field personnel and office staff in a collaborative manner.  Some of the essential tasks include –

  • Manage jobsite documents
  • Prepare equipment requisitions with the Purchasing Department
  • Research, prepare and present proposals
  • Prepare cost control and expense reports
  • Schedule and track job progress
  • Review design drawings, estimates and write change orders
  • Write subcontracts, purchase orders, correspondence field questions, and job write-ups
  • Assist with preparation of submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, air balance logs and as-builts
  • Provide timely and constructive communication with staff and customers regarding project status and concerns throughout all phases

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS –

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in construction management or similar work experience
  • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to adapt to flexible responsibilities
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products, NavisWorks, Bluebeam
  • You have enough technical experience for:  detailed submittal/installation drawing review, dimension checking, and material compliance
  • Prior experience with mechanical and plumbing systems desired but not required
  • Possess strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
