BIM Technologist

Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Fulltime
About The Job:
  • Research and development of new FAB/VDC software and technology
  • Model software setup and maintenance
  • Configuration of all VDC software
  • Maintain the fabrication CADmep DB
    • Creation of ITM content
    • Job specific services and service templates
  • Troubleshoot software issues (Revit / CAD)
  • Find technical solutions to Fab / FDC challenges
  • Setup and document, publish procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year degree in architecture, engineering, or construction-related field
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience using BIM processes, applications, and project support
  • Experience with BIM software platforms
  • Experience with non-Revit software programs acceptable as a base transition to Revit
  • Experience with VDC or BIM using Revit and Navisworks would be a plus but is not required

Project Manager

Location: Portland, OR

About The Job:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Although 90% of the time is focused on the daily running of the mechanical construction projects, he/she also has some business development responsibilities. This individual is expected to meet performance standards set by the department manager and to comply with all company policies and procedures. Some travel may occasionally be required. The Project Manager performs the following

  • Demonstrate a genuine respect for co-workers
  • Prepare equipment requisitions with the Purchasing Department
  • Research, prepare and present proposals
  • Prepare cost control and expense reports
  • Schedule and track job progress
  • Review design drawings and estimate and write change orders
  • Prepare monthly billings, projections and spreadsheet reports
  • Write subcontracts, purchase orders, correspondence field questions, and job write-ups
  • Supervise preparation of submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, air balance logs and as-builts
Requirements:

  • Minimum five years project management experience
  • Experience in mechanical engineering and construction is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successful projects and satisfied customer references
  • Capable of managing mechanical projects ranging from $100,000 to $2,000,000 plus in size
  • Proficient using a computer, i.e. Windows, Excel, Word and Microsoft Project
